Toronto FC and Real Madrid fans can watch GOLTV Canada's live broadcast of the most anticipated event in Toronto this summer @ 7:30pm.

Starts: July 31st at 7 a.m. ET * Ends: August 31st at 7 a.m. ET

If you don't have a Digital Box, your free preview begins August 7th at 7 a.m. ET to August 8th at 7 a.m. ET. Please note: This will only be available in Ontario.

With a Rogers HD Digital box, you can catch the Toronto FC vs Real Madrid game on August 7th at 7pm to 10:30pm in HD on Channel 501. Please note: This will only be available in Ontario.

Normally Channel 1 or Channel 59 has the free preview channel

That was expected but nevertheless a worthwhile experience for all of the fans who were able to get tickets.
I read TFC spent $250,000 to set up 'real' grass for 10 days, as Real Madrid made that as a condition to play in Toronto.

All the people complaining on CBC about how bad the score was need to wake up... 5-1 is par for the course. TFC is nowhere near an elite team even within the lowly MLS, and they are facing one of the world's best clubs that plays on a totally different league. Getting a goal at all is good consolation. You see -much- worse drubbings in the world of soccer (ie Mexico just routed the USA 5-0 in the Concacaf, though it was the USA B team).
