I ran my butt shakers up a little higher once and once the rumbling started, I knew it was going through cause I could hear the neighbour's dog go crazy. hahaha.

use it while people are at work (i work contracts and since i cant get any nowadays...) and basically use it till max 10pm, then lay it low.

also my upstairs neighbour has a kid and that thing doesnt have an off button so im hardly doing anything horrible.

Mind you i demo iron man 2 fight sequence to a frind of mind and put everything up at 40% and as we got out to leave i saw 2 women out of their apartments looking at us and i started laughing, it was a lazy saturday around 1 pm so meh..

Which fight sequence do you demo? Is Ironman 2 worth getting for demo purposes? Recently I've been using Matrix for my buttshaker demo (helicopter machine gun to save Morpheus scene).

For subs, i bought a Submersive HP and i cant really run it past 20-30% max gain because i live in an apartment, but the quality is ridiculous. The power is as much if not more than any ported sub because of its 2400w amp, and the dual 15 inch drivers are insane.

LOL, would hate to be at home when you're playing that sucker. Don't get me wrong, i would love to go the Submersive route, but i don't know if deep base is my thing. I think if worse comes to worse, i can always add these as my fronts in the future, but we're hitting budgets right now and at this point, i just want to get things up and running. The beauty of going the Emotiva route with my subs is, i can discard them (sell or use elswhere) without having it hit the pocket books to much.

The Room is acoustically treated with Quietrock 527, Resilient Channel + Clips. In my picture all my posters and artwork is acoustically treated. Printed on fabric, mounted with Acoustic fibre board behind.

The only thing right now is maybe base traps, but again i'll get to that if and when its needed.

basically at he end of the movie when all the robot drones sart flying after him and shooting rockets/crashing/etc

the BEST thing is end fight with whip guy in suit, the war machine gets some heavy machine guns popping out of his knuckles and he unloads. At that moment your lungs shake so hard you're basically having to hold your breath (I wish i could set the mother to 100% on that but the building will probably collapse since its easily 30-40 yrs old lol)

I also heard war of the worlds is a good demo. Also you may be surprised but the new Star Wars discs are insane on sound quality. In fighting sequences you can hear the footstep shuffles on the far back to the right or left and you can approximate how far each one of them is individually, super super detailed. EP3 is definately a good demo disc for visuals too.

Is there a HT thread somewhere on RFD where we can move our discussion to?

Where do you get your posters printed? There's a few posters I want printed and I was going to go the same route as you becase I wanted them to be acoustic treatment as well, instead of just paper in a frame. However, I'm worried about copyright issues if I just submit a huge image of a poster... Also, what fibre board are you putting behind?

I will check that part of Iron Man 2 out. I know the Star Wars is suppose to be really good. I always remembered the Pod Race from Ep 1 being really good back in the day. However, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan so buy the series is a little extreme.

I hear Master & Commander is a great demo movie, but I hated the movie.

StockR,
Why don't you create one and we can chat over there.

Here's a sort of up to date picture. My screen and projector is up, but these are a little old.

The Rat and Incredibles are 53" in length. The LOTR is 51" in length. Since the LOTR and Matrix are going in the front, i needed them a little shorter. The posters in the back i think will be 31" in length.

I just found the love of my life. It was in the September GQ magazine and i've decided to look it up more pictures of it. Anyone knows the price for this watch PLANET OCEAN Titanium Liquidmetal® Chrono Cal.9300? or if it's even out yet...?

msrp for the Ti liquidmetal chronograph is 10500 USD on titanium bracelet and 10300 on strap

msrp for the non liquidmetal chrono is 7700

The omega boutiques have not yet got the three hand liquidmetal PO's yet. regular dealers will get it only after two or three months .

Hey sick guys.

I have a question.. Why does my Longines Hydro Conquest stops sometimes? I'd have to shake this bad boy to get it moving and I'd have to correct the time and date.

This happens when I don't wear it for 1 or 2 days, just sitting there.

I'll bet you're trolling but just to humour you. It's called an "Automatic" watch which gets it's power from the motion of your hand. Power reserve is 48 hours so after that it will stop working.
