I got this as a gift.... it's a shame because it's too big for my wrist, so I've never worn it. I wanted to sell it, but don't really know where.

It's like the most high-tech watch I've ever seen!

-It has a battery, but it charges via solar power during the day. Supposedly I never have to change the batteries... Haha it even has a battery power gauge.
-It automatically sets itself! It receives a signal from the atomic clock every night and calibrates for accuracy
-Can show the current time in major cities like HK and London
-Has 5 alarms with snooze
-Detects low-light and turns on backlight automatically when you position the watch towards your face
-Has time memo
-200m water resistance (is this suitable for diving?)
-Can survive a 10m fall due to shock absorbencies
-etc.

Man, it's such a shame I can't wear this :( I didn't know they made watches this high tech.

The watch fits, it's just that I find it too big to look good on me. It's thick and big like all G-Shock watches... doesn't suit me at all. I'm more into the sleek and minimalistic watches.

Where is a good place to fix your watch?

my water seal broke and water got in my watch :(

I checked with the swatchgroup at 555 Richmond and it'll cost $200 to repair and retune it.

I have 2 - dressy Seiko Sport and everyday Timex USB - with a ton of functions.
I am a big fan of electronic watches with abundant useless functions such as news feeds and sports schedules.

Thanks for proving inexpensive watches can be as absurd as expensive ones. :cheesygri
I'm not here to prove anything to you. I posted my watch because I like the looks and it has the features I like (and fully utilize).

Im wondering if anyone knows the technical differance between Traser and Luminox.

I know that Traser uses Tritium tubes as their Lum. Does Luminox use the same?

Are they just different brands under MB Microtec?

Im looking at purchasing either the Traser Automatic Pro Blue

http://www.traserh3watches.com/en/watch ... 5&watch=26

Or The Luminox F-117 Night Hawk

http://www.luminox.com/catalog/catalog6400.asp

Im leaning more towards the Traser...mainly because its an automatic.

Sounds like they both use the same lighting technology. If you prefer automatic, then definitely go for Traser. If you like the brand of US Army, etc... then Luminox is the official supplier.

Hey,

I read your previous post regarding your purchase of 2 Luminox Watches. Which ones did you buy? Would you recommend them for daily active wear?
How much cheaper are they in HK?

Seller on EBay is listing the 6402 for $375 usd

Ive read that Luminox stopped using the Tritium tubes for 07...

On timezone both traser and luminox have top ratings

im looking to add a Military style watch to my collection

tissot seastar 1000
Rolex GMT Master II
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

I bought the Navy Seals Original, this one exactly:

And the F-16

Yes, I would recommend either one for daily wear. I've swam with the Navy Seals one (obviously meant for the ocean), even to Korea's amazing warm/hot springs, and it was night time, and it was cool to see it glow underwater at night.

The F-16 is sooo damn sleek dare i say sexy. The anti-reflective saphire crystal is so clear. You hardly notice it is there. Very attractive watch.

Here are some real shots:

Prices in HK was:
Navy Seal - HK$1850 (divide by 7 = Cdn)
F-16 - HK$5850, but was on sale 35% off when I bought it

I also like the Seastar. But if you can afford the Omega Planet Ocean, hell, get that. Rolex ? Only if you are hoping to get into Rolex. I'm personally not that mature yet to go there. Wait till I"m 50 or something.

Yeah, an expensive watch with a bunch of dials that the owner has no idea how to use or even what they're for tells a lot about its owner.
First you dont like deodorant, then shampoos, then shaving cream, then you dont like expensive watches, now you dont like people who like expensive watches. Why even go to a thread that you have no interest in??? just to build up your post count, get a life!!

*sigh* It's a limited edition watch that came out after Final Fantasy TSW hit the big screen. You probably have to murder a couple people to find one.

I would gladly murder more than a couple to get one...
omfg.. that watch looks awesome.. anyone know who can i murder to get one??
