How much was it?
$140 + shipping or something. I think it cost me around $170 to the door.

I want a good Men's watch in the $150 range, can you guys help me out?
Blue or White face prefered, metal wriststrap, no leather or plastic wristbands. Something along the Fossil/ESQ type designs.

I don't know much about watches, but I would like to pick one up for myself, brand and model would help with a link/picture would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm going to pick up this G-Shock soon. Nice combination of decent design, function, and cheap price. Seems to fit your criteria. There's multiple face colours too.

when my dad was nineteen he bought an omega something and a rolex perpetual. eventually he had to pawn the omega, but even through his roughest times while immigrating to Canada he kept the rolex. When i was nineteen he gave it to me as a gift.

I chipped it and banged up the lens. We had to oiled/cleaned/and replaced the screen (300+ dollars). After that I never wore it again.

I'd definitley buy an Omega SPeedmaster and Seamaster if I had the money,
but for now I've got a citizen eco-drive air diver 200m titanium (not sold in North America.)
I bloody love this watch. Every watch I had before I didn't wear much, but this one I wear every day (although I don't sleep with it), the titanium is absolutely fabulous.

I've seen some great HK fakes recently...I have a Tag Link complete with rear engravings and a really neat catchless strap and all functioning buttons and I've seen a great Brightling one too.

hey that looks awesome! where can i buy that in toronto?
According to some comments posted in the CTV Blog that najibs linked, it is available at La Swiss, and a poster claimed he was able to "negotiate the TX 300 down to $200" which makes it cheaper than the Officer's 1884 Swiss Army watch I bought from La Swiss a few years ago, which was even after negotiating...

yeah just googled it. that blog is a year old, but it appears the following carries it:

Dynes Jewellers Ricmond Heights 10520 Yonge St. Richmond Hill 1-800-694-3244
King's Watch Co. Ltd. Markville Mall 5000 Hwy 7 E U# 408 Markham 905-943-9439
Charm Diamond Centre, Sarnia Lampton Mall 1300 London Rd. Sarnia 519-542-7154
Peace Bridge Duty Free Inc. 1 Peace Bridge Plaza Fort Erie 905-871-5400
Kavar Jewellers Penn Centre 221 Glendate Ave St. Catharines 905-704-0632
Jewellery International Upper Canada Mall 17600 Yonge St. Newmarket 905-898-5588

Gold Star Jewellers St. Clair Shore Shopping Centre 25 Amy Croft Dr. Unit # 14A Tecumseh 519-735-9002
La Swiss - Rialto Watch Jewellery Scarborough Town Centre 300 Borough Dr. Suite 279 Scarbourough 416-296-0293
La Swiss - A.P. Watch Service Square One Shopping Centre 100 City Centre Dr. Unit # 2-711 Mississauga 905-897-2869
La Swiss - STI Imports Fairview Mall 1800 Sheppard Ave. E Unit # 265 Willowdale 416-491-4042
Chrono's By La Swiss Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre 1 Bass Pro Mills Dr. Unit # 234 Vaughan 905-761-5419
Emilian Jewellery (Diamond Art) 1070 Wilson Avenue Downsview 416-638-1888

so there's the 730 in:
black face - steel, leather, black plated steel bands
white face - steal, leather

i think the white face with leather looks sharp.

edit:
Movement: Philippines
Strap: China

booo!
