Anyone own any tourbillon movement watches?

I think this category of watches is one of the most beautifully engineered in the world.

What would be a real watch equivalent? Large face with lots of details (almost compass like) and preferably black with red/white accents and metal band?

The closest you'll get to this look on an authentic watch is Breitling. Check out their Navitimer line.

Breitling makes some of the coolest looking watches, with large faces and a ton of navigation/aviation features.

I agree Breitlings look pretty nice but I'm not sure how many of us need to calculate the fuel remaining in a jet engine at 700 knots and 30,000 ft on a regular basis.

maybe slightly less than those of us who need a watch capable of diving down to 1000ft on a regular basis :P

Isn't my favorite, that would have been my Timex Indiglow I bought from Zellers seven years ago for $20. The battery wore out after six years so I dumped it (that is, I thru it in my drawer). Found this incredible watch at the Bay, also for $20. What's really kewl is it has Arabic numbers on it from 1 to 12. It has this long hand that moves that tells me the hour, a shorter one that tells me the minute, and a skinny sliver one that tells me the seconds. So, I look at it, and I instantly know the time. Its accurate to within a couple seconds a month (checked it). It also says it will work under water up to 30 meters...wow! And has this really kewl leather band. Here's the pic, hope you enjoy seeing it:

I got this as a gift.... it's a shame because it's too big for my wrist, so I've never worn it. I wanted to sell it, but don't really know where.
I love G-shocks... you got me tempted now.

I have a Rolex SS Submariner. I've always wanted one. Crossed the border into Michigan and picked one up for almost 2k less than it sells for here...
