Someone keeps posting here but it seems to me that he is a "closet" watch lover. Maybe wifey won't give him more than $10 once every few years for a watch, but deep inside he is truly obsessed. :D

Looks like a mega rip off of this: http://www.nuxx.org/reviews/iwc_big_pilot_5002.html

I personally am not into knockoffs. It's like putting a Porsche style spoiler on a Pinto and driving around thinking you look cool. Have you looked at any Incvicta watches (yes, they too attempt to borrow styles from others)? There are some unique and good looking watches that are their own style, and they are sold in the rice range you were looking at.

I love the Navitimer. One day I hope to add it to my collection of pilot watches. I purchased a used Breitling B-1 a few weeks ago, and just re-sold it. I ended up not liking it. The blue dial just didn't cut it for me.

Now on the otherhand, I'd love that Navitimer....one day :cheesygri

I saw a lot of inexpensive Seikos on E-bay, not the newest models, but still pretty sweet looking, but they were sourced from Singapore with a delivery rate of about $20-28. They seemed to be going for about $70 at the end of auction. Anyone know if these are genuine?

eg. http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-SEIKO-SEAMASTER- ... dZViewItem

or http://cgi.ebay.ca/SEIKO-5-MENS-AUTOMAT ... dZViewItem

I actually don't mind replicas but only if I pay a replica price. I'd much prefer genuine though for waterproof issues.

I have always adored Storm watches. Chunky and funky.

I picked up a "limited edition" Storm Azuza (black rubber band, white face) on a cruise in St. Martin in March. Got a great deal on it, too (I love haggling with Caribbean jewellers!). I have had a few nicer watches in my life (a couple Tags, a nice Esq. and a couple Seikos), but I've never received as many complements from people as I have when wearing the Storm.
