Comes in 39s now :0 I dig the red and blue bit silver back I don't know
Ohhh God. The only reason I don't own a Nomos yet is that everytime I get paralyzed by indecision. This is not helping.

That Metro Silver neomatk is sharp.

they are definitely just a fashion watch these days. TAG is definitely a step above in quality as their watches usually start around $1K and go way up from there, so they occupy a higher price range in general. I had a couple of TAG watches and they were well made, I would buy again based on that. I bought two Movados in my lifetime and they broke.

I am happy someone mentioned this post. My normal watch I wear. I really wish I could find a decent royal blue w/ white stitching alligator look watch strap. I have ordered a few on amazon or ebay, but am yet to find one that was quality I was looking for.

New watch, I actually won this on a raffle that cost me 40 bucks if you can believe that!

Watches are a slippery slope! Better delete your browser history and "unsee" this thread. Luckily you haven't discovered Watchuseek yet... :)

Think of all the money you will save on batteries. Plus lithium is bad for the environment.

This one is fantastic... Watch Recon aggregates private watch sales listings from multiple sources into 1 site.

Phone app also available that lets you add keyword alerts, etc.

Hey guys, looking for some advice from some experts here ! I am looking to purchase my first real watch and wondering if anyone could comment on my selection. Before this I only wore smart watches and fitbits.

My budget is to keep it under 1000$ and I am looking for a dress watch that could also work in the occasional casual environment. So far I seem to have settled on the Tissot brand and deciding between these three as there seems to be a sale on it at the moment

Can I really go wrong with any of these as a first watch? I am looking for a classic style that will last me a long time (not like my smartwatches that get out of date in 2 years lol). Also it seems like the price differences between the three are only style and size of watch? Which one would you guys pick or would you recommend something completely different?

Thanks

I would personally choose the Powermatic (In fact, I may just order one because). It has a classic look and an 80 hour power reserve, which is not super common in automatics.

Personally, I like the Visodate...but with a black dial.

The only other classic dress watch that won't date in that price range would be the Seiko Cocktail.
