Get an IWC or VC - try something else. I'm really getting into JLC recently. Might buy an Ultra thin moonphase 39.
I love that watch. If I could have any watch right now, besides a Pelagos, the JLC Ultra thin moonphase appeals to me. What's CDN retail $? What are dealer discounts like on JLC? I know JLC has horrible resale value, so the used market may be the way to go, but there's very few JLC's on the used market.

Women don't wake up, scratch their balls, throw on a baseball cap and venture into the world as is.

I found an old Seiko 66-7109 watch from the mid-70's.
The glass is cracked, body is scuffed and the crown is pretty worn down. But amazingly, I gave it a few turns and it's still running quite well (so far).

Wondering if it's worth bringing in somewhere to clean and fix. Is this an expensive process? Any places in Toronto that you would recommend?

Been following this thread for awhile. Happy to report I'm the proud owner of a BLNR. Think I've started an addiction. Hardest part will be keeping it from my wife :P

Those GO photos don't do it justice... although I'd pick the Senator Sixties if I have to choose...

For awhile there, I didn't care about the watch and was more intrigued about the background :P

So true, the dial has a very subtle sparkle that I could not capture with my camera.

Had to show off the GMT II in the airplane. It was created initially for pilots :)

The RCAF fleet doesn't have a hole lot of inventory as far as transport plane goes... lol.
