Real men wear watches with radium lume. If you get cancer, walk it off.

That being said, I have one of these on order:

I thought most radium cancer victims were dial painters who would lick the paint brushes to paint the finer details.

Anyway, I was in Japan recently and tried on the SARB065, beautiful watch, great price too! But another watch caught my eye, and I got that instead, I'll try to post it when the watch box arrives through the mail :D

I'm not sure if you're aware, but the SARB065 is being discontinued and will be replaced with the SRPB43. If you still want the SARB065, you better get one soon while they are available.

Nice choice. I have the non-limited edition in Type B dial in manual wind. Wish I had waited though, I kinda like the radium-coloured lume.

My personal favorite watch?

The one I can't ever afford or find (I've only seen 1 of these, and I'm not going to get this unless I somehow got into his will): A modified Grand Seiko SGBX093 with the 9f61 movement from a SCQZ002 (2000 anniversary edition, 500 pieces total).
This case

With the movement from their anniversary edition, which is more accurate (+/- 5 seconds/year)

The more affordable one? The SARB/SARX Series! (I'm a huge seiko fan. Heck, my first watch was a seiko 5. I've been either Seiko or Casio guy since). I personally have a SARX035 that I've given to my dad.

The one I use and abuse? A Casio DW5600 with negative display and composite band

Wanted one of these for the past few years now. New model is coming out and I've been offered $7500 all-in, brand new. List is $8700. Man that's tough to swallow. Yes the finish is amazing, but resale tanks like a mofo. Seen these used go for around $5000. Still tempted though lol

Don't do it. Pick up a used one from DavidSW for like 4K US. Bob @ Canwatchco sometimes has them available too (he had one for sale when I bought my SM 300 and BLNR from him).

Yes I read about it, I'll probably pick it up on Amazon or preowned later, I was just paranoid about going through customs with this in addition to the other one which I bought and getting dinged haha.

Nice! SARB065 is classic, I've kinda wanted one but decided to go vintage for a dress watch. Probably a King Seiko from 60/70's.

SRP777 finally arrived from the eBay 20% off sale. Already have a SKX007 and was hesitant getting a similar looking watch but liking the style of the Turtle over the SKX007. Just waiting on an SRP313.
