Are authorized dealers like European in Toronto Eaton Centre, open to price negotiations?

Or are they locked into a MSRP set by the watch manufacturer?
They will negotiate but only if you're serious about buying a watch (buying right then and there).

They're open to negotiations, but their answer is probably "We can't do that." or something along that line.
That's the answer I got last summer at European in Toronto Eaton Center.

Show up, be ready to buy, bring cash.

The above doesn't apply to Rolex anywhere that I know of

unless you're buying the really high demand models (BLNR, LV Sub, Steel Daytona etc) you can definitely get a discount

How much discount can one expect in a $3500 watch?
I'd prefer to go the authorized dealer route, but some of the 'reputable' grey market prices are much cheaper.

Glashutte
My buddy bought his senator excellence from the Glashutte store in Paris. Said he got around 10-12% off.

That's good to know. I've only seen a handful of panomaticlunars on Canadian Watch Collector all going 9-10k whereas European is selling then around 12k before tax

Reading comments on $$$ servicing some of these watches are crazy expensive. I could buy a decent watch with that kind of money lolz. I guess many ballers are on RFD.
