lovely lovely rootbeer! more pics under diff lighting please! I think two tone in general looks best under non direct sunlight.
I've always had a fear of two tone. In my mind, its associated with "geezer"

Now rose gold OTOH...

Same here. But once I saw pics I knew it was the “one”. I was looking PM models but there was always something off about them and never cared for TT.

the rose gold with the stainless is more mellow contrast than stainless with yellow gold. I think the winner here is the bezel color, it just matches perfectly with the rose gold and stainless level of contrast.

We post pics of individual watches, as the mood suits us. It's an organic thing, you know.

Nice Zenith, but for that money I would have grabbed something else. To each their own.

Anyone know any good affordable mechanical watch brands? less than $500.
Orient, Seiko, Citizen, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina (if you're very lucky)

The latter 3 may take some hunting to find a model on sale at the price point you desire, even with Seiko prices have been creeping up and that's not even including our poor dollar. You can also consider smaller brands like Steinhart or Squale and micro brands out there (Helson, Deep blue, Armida, Commodore, etc) which use Seiko, Miyota (citizen), or Selitta SW200/ETA 2824 movements
