It’s my favourite model from Rolex. I also have a white dial on order, let’s see who gets it first lol. I would trade both Daytona’s for a 5712 though.
For me the Daytona is one of the least liked ones for me LOL. Business has been going great so I think I might get the full rose gold root beer to celebrate...

5712 is nice and to think people are crying bloody murder over acquiring Rolex professional models LOL

I’m done with Rolex with the exception of the Daytona’s. I had a 10 year gap from my 16610 in 2003 to my 116520 in 2013. And this recent 116500. I must admit the Pepsi has me rethinking after trying on my friends. Not a fan of gold, particularly yellow. I do own a white gold ALS up/down though lol. I do wear all my watches.

I'm not a fan of yellow gold either, but RG works so well with root beer. I don't rotate my watches often, currently have 116600, BLNR and the 126711. That's awesome that you have a ALS up/down, but I would have gotten yellow gold lol. That's the thing about buying a PM watch, you kinda want it different from SS no? At least that's how I feel which is why I could never pull the trigger on the smurf, but I do love the look of it.

LOL not sure if serious.

To answer your question most likely no one. Your best bet is to call AD’s daily to see what they have.

Or buy preowned https://canwatchco.ca/showthread.php?40 ... 0-V-serial
Went to Yorkdale to check out the Rolex watches. Lady there seemed annoyed to serve me. I'll check out canwatchco, seems I have to create an account. Thanks! Might just end up grabbing an IWC since the lady there was much nicer and knew her stuff. Plus she recognized my Reverso, the Rolex lady had no clue.

Ah that’s Raffi for you. I buy only from Damiani in Vaughan. Are you looking for the regular deep sea? Not James Cameron right? If so it would be “easier to obtain. It’s worth a visit there and inquire.

Thanks, I'll go check out Damiani. Just looking for the regular blue face one.

That’s the James Cameron one. Regular is black dial. Blue dial will be very hard to obtain.

Doh! Maybe I'll check out the IWCs instead.

On another note, have you checked out the Benson Watch Winders? Saw them on the Damiani website. Seems interesting and better than the Wolf ones.

Root beer is mine. When my buddy ordered the BLRO I had my chance to do it at the same time. I just can’t get over the crappy bezel colours. What’s sad in that pic is that the least valuable one in the secondary market is the Daytona Face With Tears Of JoyFace With Tears Of JoyFace With Tears Of Joy and the most valuable one is the cheapest one.
yep. the crazy world of rolex. im with you on not really getting the daytona. i love the vintage ones. the modern ones dont do much for me.
kthxbye

I use wolf winders, no noise and built well.
