Watch out for a scammer named Paul Aujla

I bought a $500 Canadian Tire gift card from Mr Aujla on 5/31/2011 for $375. Now I tried to use it two days later and the card is "blocked". How can this be if I verfied the cards at the store and the 1-800 number. I called Mr Aujla for some answers and he claims that he "doesn't know".

I have reason to believe that Mr Aujla knowingly sold me a fraudulent card. I went to Peel Regional Police but they wouldn't do anything about it since it was a "civil matter".

Paul Aujla, cell 647-278-1272, aujla13@hotmail.com. approx 5'5'' to 5'9'', 150lbs, South Asian with a turban. He does have a vehicle but I dont know the make/model. His kijiji listings can be found here. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-PostersOt...serIdZ58175157

If the police turned you down once, what makes you think they can do anything now about this " civil matter" now that you have his information? Don't you think the police are capable of doing that themselves?

This is not a Civil Matter as this person possibly sold you a stolen property. You may not get your $$$ back, but throw this @sshole in Jail. Now that you have this address, location...etc.

I just recieved new information.

Mr Aujla has changed his cell number to 647-970-9513 and he even has the nerve to change his licence plate to BMCS 189.
What kind of person would go through this much change (or hiding)?

So it's been 4 months after the fact now. Did you file the police report as you said you will ?
