Waterloo - Financial Management and Public Accounting, difference?
What is it other than the higher cutoff point for Public Accounting?
Also, my counsellor said something about Waterloo caring which order you apply to them and they demand that Waterloo is your first choice. Is this true?

Oh wait, I think I found it. According to their own website, Public Accounting is the only one that allows you to get a CA. Guess I made my choice.

Soon CMAs will be able to do public accounting that currently only CAs can do.

i'm in the FM program...
this is the difference, if you are in the PA program, during the co op work term, they make sure that u go into main accounting firms..
and even if you are in the FM program, you can still work towards your CA, you just have to find your own co op in the accounting firms which your job experience will be counted towards your CA requirements...
i think the FM program is a rip off, other than the degree difference, BAFM vs BA, it has no difference between the Honours Arts and Business Co-op, those guys can take the programs you are taking and they are paying a much less tuition.
