Wearing real fur
Does anybody here were real fur? I'll admit I do, rarely, matter of fact yesterday was the only time this year cuz of the bitter cold. It's come to the point where I fee sef-conscious wearing it anymore but I'm a really small person, no fat to keep me warm, and fur is still the warmest thing there is. Anybody else who's willing to admit it...lol?

Besides for fashionable reasons, is fur warm, compared to what you usually wear?
Is wool considered "fur"?_______________

I wear a fox and a sherling. I love the warmth both provide!!!
IMO if the animal was farm raised for the purpose of keeping me warm, then it's AOK!!

I admit it too.
You're absolutely right Nikita, there is nothing warmer. I love my sable in this weather. Now if there was something I could do with my Grandmother's persian lamb to make it more fashionable....
o0vL, I wouldn't be too proud of that fur trim yet. There is a very high probability that it's dog or cat fur.

I don't have a fur coat since I haven't been able to find one that doesn't look ridiculous on me, but I do wear rabbit ear muffs from time to time. I suppose the rabbit fur is purely for fashion, and not function, but I've had them since I was a kid.

Funny that you'd ask this today Nikita! I was in the Yonge/Sheppard area today and saw at least a dozen women in real coats. Then at Costco in Oakville I saw another four. I was pleasantly surprised!
