Were there any Moments of silence for VT fallen?
I came into my (high) school this morning expecting the PA guys to pay tribute to the fallen and to host a moment of silence and afterwards discussion. didnt happen. I felt pretty peeved that they didnt do such measures. the classes I had, didnt even mention it. I though that as canadians (and students) my school should of showed more solidarity.

did any of your high schools/colleges/university do a moment of silence and reflection?

I dont think it's necessary to hold a moment of silence. We all know what happened. It's sad but living a thousand miles away we have to move on.
I hope our schools learned something though.Last edited by hskhan; Apr 18th, 2007 at 12:52 PM.

According to BBC, more than 170 people were blown up in Iraq today (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6567329.stm). We never had a moment of silence for those fallen victims either.

You can have input at your high schools and colleges.
Go to your student council or to your principal, etc. and give them your views about having a moment of silence or a tribute to the victims._______________
