[WestJet] WestJet - 30% off travel within Canada when you pay with MasterCard, TODAY ONLY!

Hey everyone, didn't see a thread on this yet so I apologize if it's a duplicate. Straight from the WestJet site:

"Today only, save 30% off travel within Canada when you pay with your MasterCard‡ at westjet.com.*

To redeem this offer, bookings must be made online at westjet.com and a MasterCard credit card must be used to make the purchase. Both the promo code MCH30 and coupon code FKZUOAD are required at time of booking on the first page of the booking process. Bookings must be made by December 8, 2010 (11:59 p.m. CT) and travel must occur between January 6 and March 31, 2011."

Enjoy!

not bad for Ottawa to Vancouver in mid-Feb. comes out to $410 all in... funny that their sometimes 50% off seat sale costs more than this!

Thanks OP.
Just a quick check of prices; guess it depends where you're going that would make it a hot deal. YYC - YVR have tickets one way ranging $83 - $90 on the low end depending on what day of the week you're traveling.

I got a Friday to Sunday trip for $282.29 all in.
Once again, thanks!

I think they will. I've had success before, but it's in the form of a credit.

Just tried - because it's more than 24 hrs I would basically have to cancel and re-book with a $50 cancelation fee and so after all is said and done would be more than the additional discount.

I know that Westjet recently changed their checked baggage allowance to one, but on their site it says this for the second bag, $20 "This fee is applicable for flights booked on or after November 3, 2010 for flights starting January 19, 2011. Guests with flights booked prior to November 3, 2010, will be permitted a second bag at no charge. "

So my question is, if i book a flight today (Dec 8, 2010) for Jan 11, 2011 do I have to pay for the second bag?

Thanks.

Speaking from personal experience, you won't be charged.

Deal is warm but I need a flight deal for YYZ to MCO during March break. Fairly unlikely I guess.

Very few people pay FULL fare. Flights are constantly "on sale" as the airlines like to call it. All marketing. Next week they will have another so called "deal" and the week after another deal.

$151 dollars in taxes lol for yvr to yyz
