What an amazing unit the Xbox is
Well, I'm probably way behind the times as usual, but I can't believe everything you can do if you have a modded Xbox. I bet it won't be long until there is an Xbox browser and you will be able to surf the web as well. Here's my list of things feel free to add your own.
1. Plays regular/back-up/imported games either from CD/DVD or HD
2. Plays virtually any kind of audio/video media format with XBMC
3. Easily streams audio and video from your computer to your Xbox via ethernet cable or via laptop wirelessly
4. Saearch IMDB for movie titles and descriptions
5. Plays Shoutcast Radio (1000,s of internet radio stations)
6. Tells you your local weather forecast
7. Watch iFilm movies and trailers
8. Login easily via FTP to easily patch games, update apps etc.
9. Emulators for virtually any arcade system you could possibly think of.
10.Copies CD/DVD directly to Xbox
Thats all I can think of for now but I'm sure there are alot more and many more to come in the future

Xbox is a better console than ps2 because of it's mobility to do thing other than playing console games. If you compare Xbox system playing Xbox games to a PS2 playing PS2 games the PS2 wins. Graphics xbox hands down but overall for the gameplay for the actual games PS2 is better.

Ya, be happy right now. You got a year till the 2nd one comes out, and we all know how quickly things can get outdated. Hopefully they can make a logner time, I want to enjoy it more.

I haven't done this yet... but you can also watch/pause live TV or recordings (ala Tivo-style) on your XBox if you have a MythTV backend setup somewhere else on your network.

Xbox loads so much faster than the PS2.
I got realllly impatient when I was playing PS2 with some friends. Took forever to get games loaded...

PS2 with HD Loader though is comparable to the Xbox in load times now.
A modded Xbox is great. It's a real entertainment device plus if you add emulators to the mix, it's just so nice._______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."
