What is the Best DVD Writer these days?
I have a LG 4163B DVD writer now and it is great and gives me no problems. I am looking for another DVD writer for my second computer and wanted to know what is the best rated one?
I know the 4163B has been replaced by the 4167B, but how is the LG GSA-H10N?
I want something that gives me great burn quality, fast, and supports a wide range of formats.
Thanks.

I'm a big BenQ fan right now. I have a BenQ 1650 and I'm getting the best quality burns I've had in a long time.

I've got a benq 1640 and just bought a 1655. Love them both. The 1640 had some funky firmware a while back, but it was quickly corrected.
Cheap too.

I have the Plextor PX-716A and it's a great burner. I understand that it, and the BenQ 1620/1640 are the best on the market.
The Plextor has certain advantages over the BenQ, but carries a hefty price tag.
