what can i do with a bunch of dismantled computers?
i have about 30 (mostly compaqs) computers, all missing parts. no hard drives, no memory, etc....but the mobo and cpu are there, as well as the case, PS, CDROM, etc.
what are my options for these? are they worth anything to anyone? or if i give them away, would schools/hospitals want them?

I recommend trying to build several machines from all the spare parts. What you do with them is up to you.
You can go with charity, or you can run cancer research with one of the grid organizations._______________
Main: Intel 2600K @ 4.8GHz | Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 | 16GB Corsair DDR3-2000 | 2 x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2 in RAID0 | 7 x 2TB WD Caviar Black | 3WARE 9650SE | Antec 1200 | Seasonic M12D 850W | 1.5GB GTX 580 | 2 x 27" Asus VE278Q | Auzentech Prelude | Win7 Pro 64-bit

Another option is to try Freecycle.org..........pretty sure someone will snatch it up.
However, I have heard that some people on Freecycle pick up stuff and re-sell them. Which isn't cool.
