What could I use to unpartition a flash drive?
I bought a Sandisk Cruzer Titanium from the forums a wihle back. I used the U3 uninstaller to uninstall the U3 software and everything was working fine. But when I plug it in, sometimes, I see the U3 there still. It's transparent so I think this may be deleted but it's still there. I only see the flash drive being installed but if I go into properties, I could see that there's a partition there listed as a CD/DVD drive. Does anyone know how to remove that? Thanks.

Can you just format the drive? Wouldn't that get rid of the partitions?

Have you tried this ... http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1415 ?
I use this to remove the CD/DVD partition from my Acomdata Hybrid HD ... I am not sure whether it would work for USB drive ... http://web.mac.com/aponteluis/LuisAp...e_CD_PART.html
**** Use at your own risk ****
