The scariest thing about this drop, is that there are people who are scared by this drop.
Yup, a good sign that there is leverage and/or money that people cant afford on the table meaning quick sells when the going gets tough.

Yeah...imagine another 1% drop across the board before the close today...would send a lot of those who are nervous into a panic tomorrow. No blood in the streets yet. Mild selling.

This is just letting some air out of the massive bubble the past 2 years. Don't call it a scare until 30% down.

People don't buy stuff on the Hot Deals thread unless they get discounted 50% and over.

But investors keep buying stocks even after a 5% drop? How do you guys get unlimited ammos? :)

With interest rates rising, quantitative tightening by the Fed and the end of free money from the ECB's around the world. There is going to be a blood bath with one of the longest bull market in the market I will take my win and loss and call it a day.

It sounds like blood in the streets or buying opportunity but I have no more cash. There is always that IB margin account but that interest on borrowed USD isn't what it used to be at 3.68%.

Indexes are only down 2-3% today - it’s really not that bad.

Took a position in $FTN at $7.70

Do you both have any idea what you just bought (if you did), why they're getting hammered, and how these structered products work??

But not that bad compared to what? Comparing to one of those days during the 2008 crush?

When was the last time TSX went up 2-3% in a day?
Best shopping deals I got from here:
