Bought it on the tech dip.. recovering nicely
I know, was preoccupied at that time so missed it. Still feel it might be a worthwhile buy with its outlook.

Tried placing order in RUT futures (RTY) and IB only allows it for certain test accounts ATM. This explains why volume is so thin.

Canada, Eh!!
Had expected S&P to break below 2400 or get near/above 2500 by now.

Got about 1/2 way to 2500 so left to earnings to lift near/above 2500 [imho mostly from short covering].

Should it get higher then see healthy correction to 2350 area. Would rather see this happen then continued uptrend with no healthy correction.

Don't worry it will this fall or the next, correction (minus ~30%)is well overdue. IMO

Put in a buy for aim again yesterday, thin volume in the morning so I was going to do a day trade. Buy was for 38000 shares at $1.60 but it didn't get that low. Bounced off it's intraday low at the end of the day. My eyes maybe too big, was looking at a buy at $1.60 and a sell at $1.70, if I had grabbed at $1.62 and had a ¢5 window I could have sold at $1.67 for $1900 profit.

May take another stab at it again today depending on volume... Keep my window small, ¢5 will net me a tidy profit.

-=AM Edit=- Bought 38000 shares at $1.60 this morning. Put in sell order for $1.68 (greedy). Will review throughout morning and lower to $1.65 if I get too worried about volume.

-=PM Edit=- revised sell order to $1.65 as volume did not build throughout the early afternoon. Sell order was filled, 38000 shares at ¢5 profit for $1,900.

I have a TONNE of aim in my TFSA with an average cost in the low $2 range. I've been watching this since the end of May. I'm gonna keep flipping this in my rrsp whenever I see a favorable pattern develop.
are you long on aim.to? what do you think the target price is before end of 2019? how much would it take for you to sell? do you forsee the price going back to pre-AC announcement if they can sign with a big airline?

Why worry??

Who said anything about 30% correction... healthy correction in a bull mkt is normal and great because get to buy companies on sale.

Rate hike
doesn't add up. US has had several rate hikes already. They're .5% higher than us and oil is in the toilet.

Sure, but the sentiment and psychology of the first hike in many years has a bigger impact than others of the same percentage IMO. In 2015 when the US toyed with the idea of a rate hike and went ahead the gap in USD CAD widened dramatically as well (yes I know there are other factors at play)
