Don't forget to also crush up some cheese ritz crackers, or normal ritz, or soda crackers, etc. as a 'filler' - burgers taste much better when mixed with a little bit of filler such as that, and they go 'further' for a family. You can use pieces of bread crumbs as well if out of crackers. Do make sure to mix in the Lipton Onion soup mix; far better than 'no name' brand for burgers. Also, the egg is needed, a bit of relish, whatever kind you want [adds color too, besides flavor.] Steak spice is good to put in, as is Seasoning salt. Pepper too, of course. Costco sells huge jars of sliced pickles for $4, and that is really yummy on them. Be sure to soak some onions in vinegar for a while before serving burgers, and put them on the burgers. Tomato slices are good, too, to serve on the burgers.
