What to do at YVR at 3:30 AM?

Is YVR open 24/7/365? I'm thinking about booking a flight that will land at YVR at roughly 3:30 AM. Unfortunately the Skytrain won't be operating at that time and I'm not going to take a taxi home. So I don't really know what to do for the next 2 hours or so until the train is operational. Any suggestions?

A slightly off-topic questions, what's the cheapest and quickest way to get to YVR for the 6 AM flights?

First Canada Line train leaves YVR at 5:07 a.m. So you have a little less than 1 1/2 hours. And if your plane lands late.....

I'm pretty sure YVR is open all night. I've had a flight leave at 2:30am - the scheduled time.

What about a night bus or Car2go or Evo car?

East Vancouver.
Taxi. Roughly $50.00 from where I used to live in East Van.
A 6 a.m. flight needs you there between 4 and 5 a.m. Not much traffic that time of morning.

I've never used them before, but I could see that being a good possibility in the future. Are there any parking spots in YVR for them?

I think the taxis are now using a zone system and yea, it's like $50. Pretty expensive...

Considering what it costs to operate a car, I didn't think it was expensive. Besides, at that time of the morning the driver will be relieved to have a sober fare.

I've only used Car2go once. Pretty good service. On the app, it indicates there are cars at the Pacific Gateway Hotel. There is a free shuttle so that could be an option. If you understand how the service operates, there is no guarantee there will be a car at the hotel after you land.

You should sign up well in advance because you need to get your driver's abstract and send it to them. It takes a week or so for the process.

However, after getting your luggage and waiting for the shuttle (and tipping him Face Screaming In Fear) it might be easier to sleep at the airport until the skytrain opens.

I meant using the car sharing services to get to the airport. I'm lucky that I usually have someone to drive me to the airport, but I need a backup option if I can't get someone to do so.

You might want to do some research on their website. I just signed up a few weeks ago and only for short trips in the city so I don't know a lot about them. But there are parking spots at the hotel for car2go.

I had the same issue, booked a 6am flight.
But for me it was easier, I walked over to one of the bus stops for the N10.
It goes directly from downtown Vancouver to YVR.

Lucky you. How long was the bus ride?
