What to expect rent is in Downtown T.O.
Anyone have an idea of a range of prices for rental in the downtown core?
small bachelor approx 400 Sq. Ft. in a Brand new building in the Yonge/Dundas area. Including heat, hydro, water, A/C..so the basics when renting. No parking.
From what i gather, it is about $500 + some if you live on the crappiest res at Ryerson, which is a comparative alternative, but of course, that is only available for students.
What is fair rental value of a building of this nature? my estimates are $700/mo, anyone can tell how far off from my estimate it is.
Personal experience? Friends who may rent in the Downtown core?

I would suspect anything in that vicinity is $1,000 and northward. If you are lucky, you may find something in the Cabbage Town/Parliment (housing projects area) for cheaper. Something along the lines of a basement apartment.
Forget about high rise buildings on that budget.
