What if Staples ask RFD to remove PM deals????

On a related note, we have traditionally complied with retailers who do not want their information online at RFD whether they're advertisers or not. We have always believed we worked WITH retailers to bring everyone the best deals, not against them.
Since the admin, Derek, says that RFD works WITH retailers as quoted above. What stops staples from sending a letter to RFD requesting that RFD not mention ANY deals that use their price match policy. I'd like to get some feedback on that.
Thanks

End of discussion.

Price matching is perfectly legal, leaked flyers are not (or at least questionable).

the point im making is not on the flyer or the PM itself
the point is IF staples make that request and under what Derek said, RFD WILL comply with staples and remove the PM deals.

You are all making WAY to big of a deal about this. The flyers were leaked, until they are released to be public by their publisher they are not public domain and can are in a VERY gray area. Yes they were on his personal webpage, but his link to it was on the RFD page AFTER he was told not to do so. He was given fair warning. If it was pr0n the same thing would have happened and nobody would have cared. Staples are not going to ask for that information to be removed because they do not have a leg to stand on in a case like that. Seriously the hoopla that has made about this is really very pathetic.

they wouldn't
cause then they would not know of possible PM deals ahead of time, therefore not be able to take stock off the shelf
