Always loved the TT since it first debut and its latest iteration in the RS trim is "only" 75k. Granted that is probably bare bones and options are going to nickel and dime you into the poor house. You still need to make serious change to drive one of these, imo. It's not a daily, and Jesus for that kind of money you can put down a sizable down payment on a house. Anyway, must be nice to be rich.

The 2018 RS does 0-60 in McLaren f1 numbers. All from a puny 5 cylinder Turbo. And it looks the best this year's design.

Can't seem to put images but what a beauty.

Yeah, the TT RS is definitely a stunner. Though if you're gentle with the options, I would look at the Cayman as well. Premium Package Plus & PDK will you run about 75K as well. I would lean towards the Audi myself as that 75K give you more bang for the buck.

The 718s sound like vacuum cleaners, I'd look at the last gen if I was to get a Cayman personally.

The TTRS is a great car. I've seen only 2 around, but I've seen quite a few TTS. Fun fact, every TT that I've seen has been lady driven.

Personally, even if funds weren't a major deciding factor, I'd be hard pressed to pick the R8 over the TT RS. We're talking having to work for a living not asking mommy and daddy for the money. If I won the lotto tomorrow, yeah for sure, R8 with all the trimmings and then some. The R8 is really for people who have more dollars than sense. What do they charge for the intake blade in pure carbon fibre? Something like $10,000 a piece?

a guy I once knew owned a 2014 or whatever the gen is previous to the current MY. it was his weekend fun and track car. he was quite wealthy. that car was a blast to drive and ranks up there as one of the most ridiculous cars I've ever driven.

Enthusiasts. The TT RS embodies much of Audi's rally legacy. Particularly the turbo 5-cyl like the Sport Quattro had.

It's just too bad that it's drivetrain layout is transverse, instead of longitudinal as it should be.
