What language is this? Translation requested.
I had a text message sent to my cell phone in another language (a wrong number) - and I'm curious to know what it says/means... I figure it doesn't hurt to post it and ask here since this is such a multicultural place.
The text message was: "Sare koochate soolakhi!"
Hopefully it isn't anything offensive - if it is I'll ask to have the thread locked ASAP.

Based on http://www.google.ca/search?q=soolakhi , I would say it's Persian.
Ask someone over in the Nouroz thread...

My co-worker says it's Kurdish, and it says something like "Your daughter is bald" or something like that...

Orrr she says it could be "Your daughter isn't covering her hair/Your daughter's hair is bare"
Like how some Kurdish women wear scarves to cover their hair.
..knowwhatimean?

Thanks! If that is what it says.... it absolutely confirms it was a wrong number...
I don't have a daughter (or son for that matter)...

This is Persian, or Farsi, it doesn't have either daughter or bald in it.
"Sare koochate soolakhi!" means there's a pothole in your street in Persian. It's probably some personal joke and it's not formal language it's slang.
