What Laptop should i get for $1500-$1800?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to geta good laptop around $1500-$1800, any suggestions?
I'll be using this laptop mainly for Graphic design and web programming. (so 15inch+ screen would be good) I was about to just order from Dell, but a bunch of people advised me not to.

Is $1500-$1800 feasible? Any advice? Which laptops or stores (around the GTA) should I avoid?

Try the IBM clearance site to see if you can find a decent old model. As for the screen size, it's the resolution that matter.

thanks for your input everyone. Instead of Staples/Futureshop is there a cheaper (reliable) place to buy laptops online or in the gta?

if you buy a laptop from staples, but the extended service plan, because compaq/hp batteries arent reliable after the first year.
