just ran a bit long
Cruise was solid, the opening sequence was superb, Herzog's reptilian role (albeit small one) was awesome - I LOVE that guy so so much, and a lot of fun twists, but I found it to be far too unrealistic, too long (as mentioned) and something quite by the numbers covering no new ground.

Perks of Being A Wallflower. Probably the best movie I've seen all year. Maybe tied with Intouchables. Also, I didn't know tickets were $6 on saturdays...hmmm...might catch more movies on sat now.

PITCH PERFECT

I like Anna Kendrick, first saw her in Up in Air (also a "good" movie). Worth renting for sure.

Saw Flight tonight. Very much a great show. Zumeckis really knows how to pull your emotional strings. And Denzel Washinton has such a range of acting in this film.

Shocked it's been in theatres for 7-8 weeks now, most films like this one are sent packing within 2 or 3.

I know the older films they show there are cheap, and perhaps you went to a matinee or like before 12 or something?
I think they have deals like that

I am very surprised so many people liked it. It was a blatantly fake and contrived movie masquerading as something genuine.
