It's early, but Jake Gyllenhaal is going to get back to back Oscar nominations for best actor.

the movie was quite the tear jerker as well.
movie is getting destroyed by critics.
I review video games I play here: https://www.backloggd.com/u/DrewM987/reviews/ and movies I watch here: https://letterboxd.com/DrewM87/films/reviews/.

Update both as I play new games or revisit old ones.

It's a bit early to make that assessment with only 11 reviews out so far.

Ex-Machina

I brought the Blu-Ray. The film was bit short but the acting done by three actors were great. The budget of film wasn't that much compared to blockbuster movies but Ex-Machina makes you think.

American Beauty - Saw it many years ago. Greatly enjoyed watching it again.

John Wick - Cool action. This movie is what the Max Payne movie should've been.

Lol I did post Maggie in the "last Bad movie thread" - was just responding to someone that posted Maggie in this thread yet gave the movie 5/10.

I guess I should have quoted the poster brandonl in my reply...lol

hardly getting 'destroyed', it's been mixed with a small sample size. The main critique is that they can't get over the cliches, which is a given with any sports movie. But the acting from Jake and Oona is what makes it great.

ANT-MAN it was good.

Something was off I don't know if it's the writing, cast and/or director. I never do this but I stepped out to take a call, felt like I wasn't going to miss anything.

Don't get me wrong it's way better than other DC/Marvel releases like Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Captain America, Thor, etc.

I guess it explains why it only made less than $60 Million.

Minions. No one left in the theater but me so they missed the scene with the entire movie cast doing Revolution by The Beatles that ran after the end title credits...

Was good. Also stayed after the credits, thanks for that info.
