Went on a Steve McQueen kick the other night, watched The Towering Inferno, The Cincinnati Kid and Papillon, all were great movies.

Last night I watched The Foreigner very entertaining, better than I thought it would be.
I gave this a shot last week. Pretty decent for an action movie. Had its usual funny / action packed moments of JC movie.

Watched " I Don't Feel at Home In This World Anymore ". Funny, quirky, good story. Reminded me a bit of a Quentin Tarantino flick.

Before Sunset is my favourite of the trilogy, but I love them all.
It's a trilogy? I thought there were only before sunrise and before sunset (my next at home movie to watch)

This is a horrifying HBO doc where things are not what they appear - hard to say much else but if the trailer entices you, it's very well worth a watch.

Was debating to put these two films in the bad movie thread instead, but somehow it's here. LOL

"Jumanji" 1995

"Spaceballs" 1987

Both of these flicks, I'd never seen before and finally got around to them over the holidays. Now I can see the new movie "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" starring The Rock on cheap Tuesday at the theatre.

Just watched "Dear Zachary" - excellent documentary. Don't watch trailers if you plan on seeing it.

Downsizing was very good. Loved the concept of the movie.

So I finally finished watching the before sunrise triology. My thought right now is that it is hard to write about people because people have feelings.

It's easier to write about buildings and cars because they shouldn't have feelings. I don't know if plants have feelings. I enjoyed the triology.

Blade Runner 2049. Wow. Stupendous. Awe inspiring. Aurally sumptuous. Visually orgasmic. Intellectually satisfying. This is how you make a sequel.

BR2049 box office - $$. TLJ box office - $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
BR2049 film - *******************. TLJ film - ******

There ain't no justice.

this was the worst misuses of a good concept ever! The movie goes sideways about 30 mins in and never comes back, so weird. They had a great chance to have a big/small couple film and all the funny stuff that comes with it, but no, they go all crazy and it wasn't at all funny or entertaining after that point.
