I was going to watch it with my wife but after reading comments where people didn't understand the plot or that there were questions unanswered, I let it pass.
Thats what I thought at the beginning. I did not know what was happening and why but still found the plot interesting. Things pick up very very quickly for the second half of the movie.

Thor Ragnorok. Via piracy.
I saw it in theaters when it first came out, but missed the first five minutes (I had the tickets, and my brother was super late to meet me).

I found the first two Thor movies quite meh.
I genuinely enjoyed the mix of comedy and action.
Definitely in my top 5 Marvel movies.

Do you need to be familiar with the original to watch the sequel, or do they get you up to speed in-movie? I haven't seen the first one in forever.
Seen them all. 2nd one was very very boring imho. Very slow paced, limited action. It's just a boring movie and perhaps one of the worst of the year. Most peeps I know liked it because of the sentimental value of the old one. 4/10 for me.

I didn't quite find Thor Ragnarok funny, especially after watching Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which I consider it superior to T. R.
I found Thor to be weak this time, particularly by an electro shock tiny device, considering he's the God of Thunder.

Get Out

My expectations were high because of the hype, but I quite enjoyed it.

Terrific movie and if it’s accurate she’s a pretty sympathetic character.

I had a lot of fun with Get Out, as well. But do you think it's a Best Picture movie? I was surprised when it was nominated for the Oscars.

Chasing the Dragon starring Donnie Yen and Andy Lau.

Now rewatching one of the films that inspired it, Lee Rock. I did rewatch To Be Number One starring Ray Lui not so long ago. Fantastic gangster flick.

Wind River - a very good but sad movie about the rape of a First Nations woman in Wyoming.

There are a few very intense scenes and would really recommend
+1

Good movie
