What memory should I get? Kingston Okay?
I've got $200 to spend on memory. I can either spend it on my system (P4P800se) or my son's (A7N8X-D). My son's ram crapped out.
I prefer to get something locally that I can return easly if there's a problem. I see FS has Kingston value ram onsale, how would that compare with my basic Crucial ram? Oh, I'm looking for 1gb (512x2).

You might be able to get a 512mb stick of this for $50 bucks where you live:

Value brand ram from Corsair or OCZ I would think is better than kingston ram.

Might help if you where more specific with your location.
Elsewise a good 1 gig kit of Ocz Cas 2.5 value series should run you around $110-120 & is a great value for better ram then kingston. Kingston/viking use to be the best ya could get .. but those days are gone .. Mushkin, Corsair & Ocz are the best brand named ones ya can buy for ram now ..

It was Mushkin that are giving me errors. Sending them back for replacement. I might consider getting ram from NCIX, Samsung eh?

Yeah I had a bad Samsung chip in about.. 10 chips total bought. NCIX is pretty decent about returns, and the chips come with a 1yr warranty (RMA with NCIX).
I like them and they're very affordable.

Yep.
Hey, how's that Samsung compare with the Crucial? NCIX is selling that for $39 as well, and it will be a perfect match for my existing Cruicial if I decide to put it on one machine.

Crucial 512MB for $39? Sounds like a pretty good deal.
I'd pick Crucial over Samsung for the same price.. but I've never seen such a thing.

I went with the Crucial from NCIX. Hope I didn't make a mistake buying from NCIX again, last time (four years ago) they sent me items that were not properly packed (loose hard drives in a box). A NCIX manager assured us in the forums that they've fixed those "shipping problems", I guess we'll find out. I'll report back.
