What is there to do in Belleville, Ontario? (and Kingston)
I'm driving over to Belleville, Ontario on July 2nd to visit my gf that got a job there for the summer, since i've only been there once (more like passing it) i have no idea what's there
please suggest some places i could take her to at Belleville, anything is good, scenic places, fun places, relaxing places, thrilling places, anything that's worth mentioning is good
Thanks!
EDIT: cwb27 suggested that i visit Kingston, so if you know Kingston, please help me out with he same questions as above

Nothing much really.
Down around the lake is quite nice, if you don't mind a small drive keep heading east to Kingston, and even further east is Gananoque (pronounced Gan-uh-Knock-way) which is a small town at the mouth of the thousand islands.

they have a waterfront festival early july(not exactly sure if it is next weekend of what) It is quite the show as they have a number of rock bands playing each nite and then they have a very good drum and bugle competition with teams from all over the states. people come from all over the cottage area to attend.

Kingston has a pretty extensive downtown shopping core, also a lot of older buildings, more or less the standard 'tourist stuff'
If you take the 401 into Kingston there'll be 7 exits, the first will take you to the largest of around 4 shopping centers (2 indoor malls and 2 large 'power centers')
From that mall you can take Princess Street all the way right downtown to the water and essentially the heart of downtown.

Go to Little Texas in Belleville and grind with old cougs in cowboy boots. That's pretty much the only fun I've ever had in Belleville. I worked there for a while.

Dinkle's is a local restaurant. Expensive and very good.
Prince Edward County is south over the bridge. Some nice drives there including winery tours, sandbanks plus Presquile park about 20 miles west.
Trenton has a very interesting flying museum.
Lots of boating and fishing on Bay of Quinte and on the Trent canal.
Lots of interesting antique store around, especially in the countryside. Visit the old lamp museum a bit north, maybe in Stirling.
