Our Cars:
1994 Chrysler Town & Country 365,000 km
1998 Ford Contour SE V6/std 175,000 km
1998.5 Ford Contour SE 4cyl/auto (daughter #1) 135,000 km
1994 Mazda MX-3 6cyl/std (daughter #2) 175,00 km
have had lots of other cars in the past. Among the notable:
1972 Lincoln Mark IV. What a luxury chariot. Drove for an hour straight at 200+ km/h and you could actually see the gas gauge moving.
1976 Buick Electra Ltd. No door pillars. seats like your mom's couch. Outstanding 'family car'. As parking spaces got smaller it became too hard to keep it dent free & would only fit in the garage in our new house if you parked it with the bumper against the wall so I parted with it.
1981 Chev Malibu "Iraqi Taxi" - built for driving in desert conditions, what a weird combination of options. Cool to see someone else here had one (plymouthater)

'94 Black on Black Lexus ES300
This is my first car and it has about 140,000 km on it I think. I agree the Ford Escorts are fairly reliable. I drove my parents' 99 Escort Wagon for like 10 months initially to earn the money required to upgrade
. They bought the Ford specifically for me to learn driving with and that thing could sure corner better than the Lexus. Love the ride of the Lexus to be honest though. Much quieter and more relaxed. I'm hooked on the Japanese cars.
