What to wear to a Concert at a Church

Well, I'm going to a concert band concert at a church this Sun at 2pm at Church/Queen.

Now I haven't been religious at any point of my life and never went to church, and never went to a concert AT a church. Now should I wear like a Dress Shirt/Dress Pants, or a full suit? Or Casual?

do you need to pay to get in?
if it is free, then casual might be fine

but i would go with a nice shirt (can be colourful as well)
and some nice but relaxing dress pants to be safe

if it cost money for tickets
then a simple suit will do fine

just wear some pretty universal stuff...
A short sleeve collared dress shirt, some slacks, and casual shoes.

It can pass off as casual and somewhat dressy.

What kind of music do they play? Are they simply using the church as a venu or is it church related?

Dress according to the music.

If it's a recitial and they're renting space then a nice dress shirt and slacks would be in order. Perhaps a tie and jacket as well.

If it's actually a church thing how can somebody force you to go? You sure it's not a cult?

You need to write a report on it. You don't go, you fail report. Report - 10% of final mark.

You should dress somewhat casual, but nice. Wear a collared shirt or something.

When I went to a church for a concert (also for school), I had entered into their draw. As they began to draw names, I started to panick (not because I wanted to win, but for the reason I wanted to lose). Surprisingly enough, my name was drawn and all I could remember was walking down the creeking isle, with many eyes gleaming and frantic whispering, wearing an old shabby t-shirt and tearaways. Quite embarrassing, I must say.

So the moral of my story is: The future is unforseen, so you better be prepared.
