Which chorizo are you referring to? Pics or Item#. TIA. Have only seen the Freybe version.

Eggs, chorizo, mussels, tea, and...

Trying the frozen french onion soup for the first time. Surprisingly low calories (220) per serving, although it's a bit heavy on the sodium. For $8 I'll take the chance on it.

Sorry I don't have the item# (receipt already thrown out). It's not at every Costco so usually I get it at 427/7 or Dixie/Dundas.

Found this on Google images. Same company and label style, the version sold at Costco is a 2-pack for $8.95

Thanks. Gonna add some cubed Chorizo to my freezer pantry. It will be stored along side with my single slice rolled and frozen bacon.

I tried the Cuisine Adventures French onion soup yesterday. A lot of onions, could use more cheese, not much crutons and heavy on the sodium.

In comparison to the M&M Food Market frozen French onion soup, everything looks the same from the packaging to the size (283g vs 285g). Cuisine at Costco is $12 for 6 ($2 each) while I think the M&M ones are $4 each regular price.

Arla Havarti Snack Cheese

Size: 24 x 21 g
Item Number: 1112123
Price: 10.99

I like to snack on small bits of cheese now and then, so I thought this bite-size packaged havarti would be a good option.
To be honest, I won't be buying this one again. I find the way it's formed in these small packages seems to create a plasticky texture on the surface.
This stuff is not like 'processed cheese' or anything, and it does have the real havarti taste.
Normal larger bricks of havarti have a much better texture.

Craving steak - tempted to grab one of those big striploin packs and cut my steaks myself. Does anyone know if they go on sale regularly? How much $/kg? Cheers,

I don't think I've seen meat go on sale at my store...often I'll see a tag over the meat counters with $3, $4 or $5 etc off an entire package.
Your post reminded me I have 1/2 a dozen steaks that I cut up after hitting the RCSS sale - I bought the prime rib with PC points so it was free and ended up with a load of steaks. It's worth watching for that sale IMHO

Sampled the chicken ramen recently and was surprised how good it was. Will add to the freezer next time it goes on sale.

Both my wife and I love the sweetie fruit that they sell there. Great to see that they are selling this again.
