I've seen much worse. There are some areas in Toronto where I see drivers regularly do 70+ km/h in school zones and residential streets.
Where are the police when you really need them?

What time do you get out of work? Usually school is over when people are on their way home from work on a standard 9-5 job.

The Gardiner is also full of speeders. Where are the po pos? Seriously, I'm doing 100 and these douches will blow by me at what seems like 120-130 only to either brake hard to yield to congestion or slice and dice lanes like a total idiot causing everyone to brake because they're startled which kills the continuity of traffic.
I love it when they ride my bumper.. I'll just let off the gas and frustrate them. This is in the middle lane for crying out loud. You think 95/100km/h is slow? I''ll do 80 or 75km/h just to frustrate you even more.

you will be even more frustrated than the ones you try to frustrate when you get charged with stunt driving
http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/reg...s_070455_e.htm8. Driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention, without reasonable consideration for other persons using the highway or in a manner that may endanger any person by,
i. driving a motor vehicle in a manner that indicates an intention to prevent another vehicle from passing,
ii. stopping or slowing down a motor vehicle in a manner that indicates the driver’s sole intention in stopping or slowing down is to interfere with the movement of another vehicle by cutting off its passage on the highway or to cause another vehicle to stop or slow down in circumstances where the other vehicle would not ordinarily do so,

lol OP seems mad. For my G (G2?) test I went 30 in a school zone and was yelled at by examiner.
I always go 50, even in school zone. There is absolutly no reason why you can't stop the car when going 50. I don't do it because I'm a bad ***** , I do it becasue 50 is SLOW as it is, and there are not normally kids running all over the street un supervised.
If there are then that is a bigger issue then me going 50.
.
If I'm driving in a 3 lane highway, absolutly no reason to not go 120 in left lane. People like you piss me off, going 100 in middle lane. You make it impossible for us to pass people who are going slow in the left lane.
We take the highway to drive fast, not drive 80km an hour in the left lane like some idiots do.Last edited by oranr; Aug 3rd, 2012 at 10:51 AM. Reason: removed attack

The simple rule should be go the Speed Limit if you are doing 10km/20km under the speed limit (ie 90km/h on a highway) then you either get to the far right most lane or get the hell off the highway and take regular roads. people like that cause more issues then speeders, they are the same people that will cut in front of you and accelerate slow and cause an approaching car to slam on the brakes.
We need regular road testing for everybody._______________

Always downshift and slam on the brakes before the speed sign. Gotta save those precious seconds in a racecar, kinda like hitting the speed limiter line when going into pits.
If you get hit, they're following too close and you get a new bumper and claim for soft tissue injury, win win.

maybe if one of those kids get hit by a car and get send flying in front of all the other kids... then they all will all know how to cross the street after (and know the dangers of j-walking)

If that were the case 100% of the time then why would the speed limit reduction be necessary? Kids do dart out sometimes, are you willing to risk on possibly hitting a child and had to deal with the consquence for the rest of your life? I'm not, and no one should. I actually go 30kph or even 20kph when I turn on to a side street.
Have some patience, it will be good for you.If I'm driving in a 3 lane highway, absolutly no reason to not go 120 in left lane. People like you piss me off, going 100 in middle lane. You make it impossible for us to pass people who are going slow in the left lane.
Drive at reasonable speed relative to the traffic, road, and weather conditions is a sign of responsibility, and maturety. We take the highway to drive fast, not drive 80km an hour in the left lane like some idiots do.
Before you think I am one of those "Slow Pokes", I assure you I am not, I've gone fast in the past, sometimes very fast, and looking back now a few times irresponsibly fast, I can still hang with the traffic flow just fine and have two cars currently that can easily get me in trouble if I didn't have the discretion, however I have not had an accident in almost 30 years, and have not had a speeding ticket for well over 10 years, how you might ask? By driving responsibly, and maturely.
