I'm probably going to buy the LG (L204WT) LCD monitor from Future shop in the next couple of days and I was curious what kind of policy they have for dead pixels?

Well they have a 30-day refund policy... You could always return it and get another one!
Which is why buying LCD's at a retail store is better._______________

Here's one - it's called Dead Pixel Buddy.

When I got my samsung 19" LCD. I (with the help of a manager) "made" them get me the unit that has no dead pixel on it (two units going back to factory).
The guys at FS sure look after customer's best interest. They even tried to convince me that a dead pixel on the screen isn't a big deal.
It is funny how they try to clean the dead pixel like a dust. Oops. still there.
