Hey, I like rib eye too, but better than tenderloin? Come on....... You sure?
I agree, tenderloin is my favourite cut. Some say its got no flavour, mine has flavour when I cook it.

But I did just buy a whole boneless rib at Costco and its super yummy. We ended up with 16 1.5" steaks for $138. I dont like my ribs too thick because its too much to eat. Tomorrow a couple will be going in the smoker, cant beat the taste :D

Smoked ribs eye? Sounds awesome. Share some pics in the BBQ food thread if you get time to take some.

Wifey picked up 2 whole pork loins at the RCSS a couple of weeks ago for $1.77/lb and she cut it up into 1.5" chops and froze them. They were so good.

Get a PC Points card at Loblaw stores. They will frequently offer you 10% to 20% off beef or pork even if it is already on sale. I just stocked up on their juicy medium ground beef tubes from Cargill, at $3.80/lb.

At Costco, look for a $5.00 off sign. Only one section per week, for beef, pork, chicken or salmon trays. Then buy the smallest package there, for the best savings.

Tenderloin is good and tender. hehe
But I like the flavor profile of rib eye that's created by the fat cap and bone.

Fight time!!!

I like it too... But I just prefer the fat and taste from rib eye cuts.
Those tomahawk steaks were definitely not $5.99/lb lol!

This. I scored these beautiful steaks last week at RCSS, and got an additional 20% off the already awesome price.
