What's a good suit shop for bespoke suits in Toronto?

I'm looking to spend around 1500 - 2000 for a nice suit. Are there any good places in Toronto?

Thanks!

2k for bespoke locally?

good luck.
Agreed. Double your budget (4k), or buy a cheap "custom" Indochino suit.

OP - you might be confusing custom made with bespoke. I very much doubt that you will be able to have a bespoke suit made at the quoted price - at least not by a qualified bespoke tailor.

And blanche you must be confusing made to measure with custom made which is bespoke ;)

OP most people are fine to buy off the rack and tailor. A good experienced tailor (with regards to suiting alterations) will be able to adjust most things that require attention. IMO this is worth more than going to places that offer MTM online or with a novice tailor taking your measurements.

OP, this will tell you the difference between "made to measure" and "bespoke". They are two different things in the same category. Another in this graphic is off the rack, or OTR - which is what you see in stores like H&M, Moores, Tip Top Tailors, etc. that are sold as is. Those are up to you to get modified if you find they're too short or too long. It is not the same as mtm or bespoke, it's still ultimately off the rack.

Here's the accompanying article to what defines mtm, bespoke and off the rack:

Are Don Cherry's suits considered bespoke?

I am not confused. Add the words Made to Measure to custom made - that should solve your issue. Bespoke is a whole different ballgame.

for your price MTM.

some other options in your price range though i can't comment on quality or fit.
https://www.spierandmackay.com/about_ma ... easure.php <-- S&M seem to be highly rated on styleforum
http://garrisonbespoke.com/ <-- lots of press and celebrities
http://ca.suitsupply.com <-- they seem to have a "design your own suit". you can do extensive tailoring with their OTR stuff

i know the coop and ermanno's up on yonge/lawrence area do have MTM measure programs also.

BTW, Harry rosen's bespoke starts at 3k$ with the avg being 5k
