I disagree. Instant email is very useful especially in the Hot Deal forum. I want to know what deals there are immediately rather than have to wait for the night update. We all know how Staples' inventories go OOS easily...Originally Posted by Derek

The old boards didn't email every post, just every new topic. I found it handy.

Have we changed forum software then? or did upgrading lose the facility to receive email notification for new topics?
I was subscribed to the BST forums and got all new topics in my inbox.
I have dial-up and don't have time to got to RFD forums to reload the forum pages to see if there's anything new, I check my email much more often.
Maybe take a poll?
Thanks,
Linda

*Bump*
I keep missing out on Hot Deals, by the time I get the daily digest, it is too late and items are sold out. Is there any way that this can be implemented into the bulletin board system?
Thank you,
