Either Ford Ranger or Mazda B3000/4000 (the same truck basicly).

I'd say the Ford Ranger/Mazda B series with their "super cab" *rolleyes*, as well as the Chevrolet Colorado with extended cab, would be the smallest possible 4 passenger truck you could get.
They have jump seats in the space behind the driver and passenger seats, and while 2 adults could squeeze into them in a pinch, they'd hate your ****ing guts for it.
Tacoma with Access Cab is a little bigger, not by much.
For me, it's either a proper crew cab that can seat 4 adults properly, or it's not worth buying.

Ford Ranger's back seats are particularly cruel implements of torture. I heard they made the Iraqi national guardsmen sit in the back of one while blasting Garth Brooks to get the to reveal where Saddam was hidden.

You're probably better off with a compact crew cab rather than an extended cab, for sure. One of them, has a shorter than normal box to keep overall length down._______________
What the H E double hockey sticks have I done now?
