When did your baby get his/her 1st tooth ? Mine is toothless at 13.5 months !
I've waiting for my boy's tooth/teeth to pop in since around 7-8 month and am still waiting. We can feel the ridge but that's been like that since 7-8 months. At this rate, he'll probably wake up one day with a full set.
Our baby doc says his personal record for his patients are 14 months.Last edited by tkl; Mar 4th, 2007 at 10:00 PM.

My oldest was 15 months before the 1st tooth peeked through. She's 10 now and has only lost 8 teeth so far!!!
My middle one was 8 months
But my baby, was 5 months. She's 5 and a half now and has yet to lose one!!_______________

Our son was very early at three months, but we know a few people who had kids that were BORN with teeth!
None of it really means anything, though, doesn't matter when they come in.

My kids got their first teeth by 13 mths, it was so exciting when they finally got one. They were toothless for a whole year.
It sure made for alot of months of drooling and whining while they were cutting them.

These kinds of threads remind of us just how different baby development is. My sister has a child the same age as mine - who was walking and pretty much toothless, while mine had teeth 6 months before she walked.

I can finally vote in this poll.
3 days of fever 40.6 and I see a line of white popping through where the gum is. Official time, 1 week before 14 months.
It should also be noted to parents that teething does cause fever to go that high. It turns out he also had Roseola , a common viral infection at the same time.
He has never been this miserable. He's cried more these last 4 days than his entire life so far. Can't wait for his next tooth to pop.Last edited by tkl; Mar 11th, 2007 at 11:55 PM.
