Where 2 buy - Hunter Wellies Rain Boots
Hello, looking for the original Hunter Wellington Rain Boots in metro Vancouver area. I think I want either red or black. Anyone know where I can get them and how much.
Thanks in advance.

I bought mine online since I could get a better price than in Vancouver.
If you want to buy them locally, they have limited colors at Holt Renfrew and I also saw them at Gravity Pope. I think they were $135 Cdn in store for the originals - sorry, I bought mine in Sept so I can't remember when I was shopping around.

Thanks Tweetie
Just curious. Did you go a size down? Did you get the original fit? How do you like them. Are they worth the money?

I love mine - I bought red. I get a ton of compliments on them. I have the original fit - the Festivals and other designs aren't my style.
I think they're worth the money - the other brand I was looking at was Burberry, and the selection this fall was pretty boring. Plus the Hunters have been really popular since Spring 08 and have the British history behind them.
For sizing, I sized down about a 1/2 size. They're still a little loose, but it's better than tight rainboots.

Believe or not, I've seen them at the Bay before. That was in the fall.

Can anyone explain why a pair of rain boots are over $100?
Can't you get these from Walmart or Zellers for less than $15?
Is this some company that has Koala fur inside to keep your feet warm so you dont have to wear socks so they can overcharge you like Uggs?

Same reason as everything with a brand - why buy $250 designer jeans when you can buy the $20 from Zellers? Hopefully better materials, nicer styling, and British history in this case. And as mentioned earlier, they're the brand the celebs are wearing.
About the online options, pretty much all the usual places sell them: Revolve, Shopbop, Saks, Neimans, JCrew - this was in the early fall when I ordered mine. I just bought from the one that had my size and best discount at the time.

If anyone is looking for hunter Boots, Canadian Greetings on Robson Street at Burrard (they have tons of luggage spilling out to the street) is carrying them at end of Jan! They told me there that they are bringing in Original, Gloss, and kids. It took me forever to find my Hunters in silver (apparently not available in Canada till March) - would love to buy local.

Thanks in advance.
The Avant Gardener store in West Vancouver has a wide selection of Hunter boots, including matte black, glossy black, and red. They retail for $150.

I ordered mine from a company called Country Attire, UK based. 2 pairs of hunters one black one green, a bottle of their rubber conditioner, 2 pairs of hunter fleece socks all for $250. Best.deal.ever. and when they ship it, they mark it under $50 so I paid no duties. Also was shipped seperately but everything came within a week.
I cant say enough good things about this place!
Check it out guys, you wont regret it
Edit: forgot to mention, worldwide shipping is FREE. I mean, right?

Hi! Just wondering how you got them to mark the package under $50?? Is it better to ship them to a US address or to a canadian address? I'm going to buy off their site but I don't want to end up getting screwed into paying duties!!
Thanks!!
