I've heard of monoprice.com, but I'm sorta turned off by the shipping charge. Ordering two 6ft with ferrite cores is $13.74 all-in ($6.80 S&H charge).
Is this place my best bet? I know there's been past specials on amazon.ca, but I need HDMI cables as soon as possible for my PS3.
Do you guys know where else I can get them that are reputable? I'm looking not necessarily for the cheapest ones, I just want great value. And why are the ones with the ferrite cores cheaper? Is there a difference?

I typically get all my cables including HDMI from Monoprice. Shipping cost is offset by their low prices. Keep the total price below $20 if possible...minimize any duties or taxes. Worth it to order an extra cable or two.

There's this place that sells it too, and have the option for local pick ups as well being near my area.

I wonder if these cables are good. But then again, all HDMI cables are the same as long as they are working. Anybody buy/order here before??

You can also get some good ones off ebay. The wait time may be a bit longer depending on where you order from (I've ordered mine from HK), but I've sometimes found prices to be less then monoprice for the same product.

When Bewawa has them, they are the best deal in the GTA I have found. A buck or two more than some places, but the FREE delivery is worth it all.

NCIX.com has HDMI cables on sale every week now. Sometimes they offer cheap shipping or even free shipping. If not then you can bundle other stuff to make the the shipping relatively cheaper per item. If you can do local pickup then even better. I remember buying some 6ft HDMI cables for 2.99 each which works great.
