where to buy A/V Receiver

Hi,

i am looking for a fairly low-mid end A/V receiver in Vancouver area (Richmond preferred).

receiver i am looking for: Onkyo TX-SR606S

can anyone recommend a local store for it?..good price, good people to deal with.

the unit is around $350 ish in the states...would it be better to just get it from the states?

Getting the receiver will not necessarily be cheaper because you'll have to get it from the US to Canada and, when I was looking for an 805, none of the authorized Onkyo dealers ship to Canada. If you go to the US and bring it back, you won't have any Canadian warranty according to Onkyo since it wasn't purchased from an authorized Canadian dealer. Just my $0.02.

I am not too worry about the warranty, if it is only in the states I am fine with it.

I am planning to have them ship to the Letter Carrier at point robert if they can't ship to Canadian address.

My concerns is that do I have to pay anything extra on top of the GST+PST?
