isn't buying and selling piranhas illegal?

Where to buy Where can I buy a black piranha (serrasalmus rhombeus)?
Anyone know where I can get a black piranha (serrasalmus rhombeus)? in GTA or within 150 distance from Toronto? and can these be kept with other piranhas? ie.red bellied piranhas

You can buy red bellied ones at some pet stores but I don't know about the black ones, I never see them anywhere.

Don't know about Canada but they are illegal in US , as are all piranhas because idiots have had them then decided to let them go in lakes and rivers. I think they would be a really interesting conversation piece pet though. Good Luck!
